A Brief Introduction and History
The MacBook is a series of Macintosh notebooks released by Apple. It replaced the PowerBook and iBook during the Apple-Intel transition. The first model of this line was the MacBook Pro that was announced on January 10, 2006 at the Macworld Expo. The original MacBook was released on May 16, 2006. It’s available in black and white. It used the Intel Core Duo Processor and 945GM chipset. On a 667 MHz front side bus, it has the Intel’s GMA 950 integrated graphics. The MacBook Air was later released on January 15, 2008.
